The Ottawa River at the waterfront in Pembroke.
The City of Pembroke has temporarily closed parts of Waterfront Park due to damage caused by high winds and rising water levels earlier this week.
Sections of the boardwalk have been damaged and are now blocked off with barricades for safety. In addition, the road near the marina office and fuel pumps is closed to traffic until repairs are complete.
Despite these closures, the rest of the park remains open to the public.
The City is asking everyone to respect all posted signs and barricades for their safety. Repairs are underway, and the City thanks residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation during this time.
For updates on park access, visit the City of Pembroke’s official website or follow their social media pages.
