Team Canada was also Team Whitewater Region as a local group took on some of the world’s best at the Pan American Rafting Championships in Chile.
Julie Butala, Gwyn Ashcroft, Westley Etherington, and Kaile Marland represented Team Canada as part of the competition, which took place over the course of October 30th and November 2nd.
Meanwhile, Ashcroft and Etherington were joined by fellow Whitewater Region resident Chaz Johnston, as well as former local rafting guides Jacob Suchoarb and Ian Stokes on the Canadian men’s team.
