Get your rock on with the 2024 Rockathon fundraiser presented by the St. Francis Valley Heathcare Foundation. The event will be held on June 21 from 10am till 4pm at the Valley Manor in Barrys Bay. This will be the third Rockathon fundraiser, with the first event raising over $26,000 for patient lifts, mattresses, porter wheelchairs, a broad recliner chair and much more.
Christine Hudder Communications and Fundraising Officer tells myFM news how the event went last year.
Hudder emphasizes the significance of these events for the community’s well-being.
Participants are encouraged to gather pledges from friends and family and commit to spending the day rocking in a rocking chair. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment and refreshments throughout the event.
