Members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) swiftly responded to an assault call for service in the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan on April 6, 2024. Following a thorough investigation, police apprehended and charged a 30-year-old individual from Whitewater Region under the Criminal Code with two counts of domestic assault. The accused has been released on specific conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. To safeguard the privacy and identity of the victim, the name of the accused person will not be disclosed.
