In an update to reports of a body being found behind city all over the weekend, the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP say that officers were called to a parking lot adjacent to Nelson Street shortly after 9:00 a.m on Saturday. There, a 31-year-old male from Pembroke had been located deceased. While the cause of death has not yet be confirmed, foul play is not suspected, and investigators believe there is no threat to public safety.
