With temperatures expected to plummet tonight, Environment Canada says flash freezes are like going to happen across much of Eastern Ontario. Weather officials say that a dramatic change in temperatures is expected this evening with the passage of a sharp cold front. Temperatures are expected to go from well above freezing to below freezing in just a matter of a few hours. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Local OPP suggest postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
