Valley Transportation has been contributing to Make a Wish Foundation since 2002. They have donated $65,000 in 21 years, this year they raised $7,000 to help make wishes come true for children. Sharon Forbes from Make a Wish tells myFM news that their organization can’t function without donations like this.
This year marks the 40th anniversary for Make a Wish foundation, they granted over 2,000 wishes in Ontario. Out of the 2,000 wishes made, 200 of them are in Eastern Ontario, with 190 children still waiting for their wish to come true. Sharon Forbes the Manager, Fund Development loves to see companies contribute to families in times of need.
Valley Transportation held a lunch for their employees on December 13th, 2023, to appreciate all the hard work and money donated to Make a Wish Foundation.
Make a Wish Foundation is always looking for more companies and organizations to help contribute to sick children and their families.
