A Laurentian Valley Township man is facing charges in relation to shoplifting. Police began investigating on Thursday after a shoplifting incident was reported by a store in the 100 block of Pembroke Street East. Reports say that an employee of the store was also threatened. Police located and arrested an individual a short distance way from the scene. Along with drug paraphernalia, police discovered and seized suspected cocaine and fentanyl during the investigation. Marc Bromley now faces charges of theft under $5,000, uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, possession of cocaine, and fentanyl, along with two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
