The Pembroke Parks and Recreation Master Plan survey has been extended if you haven’t been able to take part yet. The city will use the community survey as a tool to support the development of the plan that will guide the Parks and Recreation Department for a span of 10 years. So far, more than 550 people from Pembroke and across the region have responded. The link to the online survey can be found on the city’s website. Paper copies of the survey are also available at the library and Active 50+ Centre until November 17th. Results will be presented to city Council in the winter.
“The opportunity to voice your thoughts and concerns is very timely,” says Mayor Ron Gervais. “It is very important that you provide your input as part of the planning process, including the topic of community recreational facilities.”
