You may have noticed something new at the health care facility in Deep River. The Board of Directors for the Deep River and District Hospital, the Four Seasons Lodge Long-Term Care Home, and the North Renfrew Family Health Team has adopted the single, unified name of Deep River and District Health. Janna Hotson President and Chief Executive Officer tells myFM news that this move has been in the works for sometime.
Hotson also tells myFM news that just because they have a new name, doesn’t mean they are changing their mandates.
In addition, the President and Chief Executive Officer says that this move ties into the new expansion coming and looking to the future.
The familiar healthcare cross symbol has been customized to incorporate illustrations of the river, mountains, and pine trees, paying homage to the region’s landscape.
