The PBIA in Pembroke is upcoming Downtown Harvest Festival tomorrow, a vibrant celebration of autumn in its second year. Bethea Summers, Manager of the PBIA, spoke to myFM news about the fall fun by waterfront park.
Bethea says the suggested donations at $5 for small and $10 for large pumpkins going to support the Circle of Turtle Lodge, emphasizing community collaboration.
There will be fun photo opportunities are available with a Wizard of Oz cutout and a fall-themed backdrop. Diverse vendors, including farmers market regulars and crafters, promise unique shopping experiences. The local library hosts a fall-themed craft activity, while food vendors offer delicious treats.
Games like pumpkin bowling and ring toss add to the festive atmosphere. The event is located at the farmers market, with a covered space, and runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, free for all. This inclusive festival unites the community, emphasizing support for local initiatives and creating cherished fall memories.
