Veterans’ Week, November 5th – 11th, celebrates military entrepreneurship in Petawawa, home to Garrison Petawawa, the largest employer. The Veteran Business Recognition program extends beyond the Garrison to showcase veteran or serving personnel-owned businesses in the community.
Throughout November, it highlights these local businesses, promoting entrepreneurship and mentorship connections. Businesses will display window cling banners, and a social media campaign on the Petawawa Business Advisory Network pages will showcase them.
The program kicks off with a Veteran Business Expo on November 5th at the Petawawa Civic Centre, featuring vendors, including veteran and military support services. Eligible businesses need to register to participate by October 16th.
