Pembroke had a famous visitor Friday (June 16th) as filming began at a local downtown boxing club.
Director of the films ‘Blue Skies on Mars’ and ‘Painted Sharks’ Brian Lutes took some time while organizing the set at the Pembroke Boxing Club to sit down with myFM to discuss the inspiration for his current project ‘Pictures of Us’
Lutes’s crew were, in part, locally sourced, and all were working hard to make sure they made up for a little lost time on the set, they were all laser focused without taking it too seriously.
Pembroke seemed to be an ideal location for Lutes’s period piece, for more reasons than one.
Brian was shooting in Smiths Falls earlier this month for the same project.
We look forward to the release of ‘Pictures of Us’ that could be here as early as summer 2024.
