Charges have been laid in relation to a series of retail store thefts in Pembroke. Upper Ottawa Valley OPP began investigating after multiple thefts happened in the east end back in late March. 47-year-old Ian Hopper was arrested and charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and 11 counts of failure to comply with probation.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on May 23, 2023.
