The City of Pembroke is sharing details about the quick closure of Pansy Patch Park.
City staff say during construction to twin the forcemain on Towline Road and D’Youville Drive, a failure of existing infrastructure required the bypass of main lines around the Townline Lift Station.
Out of an abundance of caution, Pansy Patch Park was closed on Thursday to protect park users and allow for inspections.
The City of Pembroke has completed the repairs to infrastructure and Pansy Patch Park was reopened for normal use Friday morning.
