The 15th annual Black and White Gala in support of the Pembroke Regional Hospital certainly made up for lost time. The gala was back, in person for the first time since 2019 and raised a record, $215,750 for the cancer care campaign. Roger Martin with the hospital foundation says he is overwhelmed with the support they’ve received.
Martin with the hospital foundation also tells myFM that money will go to good use.
Roger Martin went on to say that the end is near for the Cancer Care Campaign.
Over 200 people attended the Normandy Officers Mess on Saturday night. The gala also included a live auction and casino games to cap off the night.
