A new report says that Deep River ranks one of the cheapest places to rent and live in Ontario. According to the Canadian Mortgage Professional, Deep River offers an average cost of living 27 percent lower then the provincial average. The average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $1,400 and the average cost of a house is currently $368,025. The Ottawa Valley town is also linked in with Kingston, Peterborough, Thunder Bay, Sarina, Sudbury and Rainy River.
