Dobbs Court will be the name of the new roadway in the Kirklyn Estates subdivision in the Township of Laurentian Valley.
No concerns were raised by township staff or the County of Renfrew regarding the name.
The new subdivision will have 20 new single detached residential homes on half acre lots in addition to the existing home and accessory buildings that sit on a 4.2 acre parcel of land along the Ottawa River.
Dobbs Court would be accessed from Golf Course Road in Laurentian Valley and the new subdivision will be built near the Pembroke Golf Club.
Council also agreed to enter into a a pre-servicing agreement with the developer that allows certain work to start, including bringing in a large amount of fill for the subdivision.
