The lending hub at Riverside Park in Pembroke is open for the season.
Facilities supervisor Holly Yaraskavitch says the lending hub is located at the Kiwanis Building in Riverside Park. She says the lending hub will be open until Thanksgiving when the campground closes for the season.
Yaraskavitch says the lending hub is nice for people who don’t have the larger items like stand-up paddle boards and kayaks to use.
Yaraskavitch says there’s no cost to borrow any items, but for larger equipment such as bikes, stand-up paddleboards and kayaks, they do take down credit card information as a deposit, but don’t make any charges to your account.
You can rent out items at the lending hub any day of the week between 8:00am and 9:00pm.
Some of the items available at the Riverside Park lending hub in Pembroke includes; sporting gear, baseball bats, gloves, basketballs, bicycles, fishing rods (tackle not included), footballs, lawn games, nordic walking poles, soccer balls, volleyballs, yoga mats, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and adventure packs (including bird and tree identification books, magnifying glasses, flashlight, note pad and first aid kit).
