If you’re hopping across the border for the long weekend, Quebec Police invite you to be careful while on the road.
The Sûreté du Québec tell myFM that good weather in the forecast means a higher volume of vulnerable road users, like motorcyclists and cyclists, pedestrians, and people with reduced mobility.
In parallel with local OPP efforts, Quebec police will be participating in several road safety operations keeping an eye on risky behaviour including speeding, impaired or distracted driving and not using your seatbelt.
While they wish everyone a safe and fun holiday, they remind you that safely sharing the road is everybody’s responsibility.
