PSP Petawawa is kicking off community recreation month with a day full of fun and activities. Community Recreation Coordinator, Brittany Robins, tells myFM they have a busy month of activities to get the community active.
Robins says on Sunday, June 5th, there will be a kick off event for recreation month from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the PSP Recreation Complex on base at Garrison Petawawa.
The event will have a BBQ, popcorn, specialty doughnuts, cotton candy, snow cones, live entertainment, a petting zoo, bike rodeo, bouncy castles,, children’s obstacle courses, a tot play area and more.
Robins says some of the recreation clubs will also be on site so you can learn more and find out how to get involved.
The kick off to recreation month hosted by PSP Petawawa is free to attend and open to everyone.
