The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s 21st annual Black and White Gala raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help pay off the facility’s new CT scanner.
That’s according to foundation executive director Roger Martin, who says it went phenomenally.
Overall, the gala brought in $426,656, the most ever in the history of the annual event.
Martin says the money went towards the foundation’s Together We Care campaign for new equipment, and the bulk of it went towards paying off the recent purchase of a new CT scanner for the facility.
The foundation still needs to raise another $300,000 or so to pay off that purchase, and Martin says there’s still a way for residents to contribute to that effort while that could also pay off big for them: the weekly Catch the Ace fundraising raffle is still ongoing, and the elusive Ace of Spades is still available.
Catch the Ace tickets are available here.
