With the municipal elections a little more than a month away, Pembroke residents should make sure their information is up to date well in advance of voting day.
Residents can still add or update their information on the city of Pembroke’s voter’s list, by filling out the appropriate forms and handing them in at city hall with the appropriate I.D.
The city says eligible electors should get a Voter Information Letter (VIL) in the mail in early October.
If you do not receive one, you’re advised to check with the Clerk’s office.
Online voting begins October 16 at 10:00 a.m. and will continue 24 hours a day until the polls close on October 26 at 8:00 p.m.
Paper ballots can be cast on Voting Day October 26th at the Royal Canadian Legion at 202 Pembroke Street East.
