TODAY: English Conversation Group meets at the Pembroke Public Library from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10, providing a friendly setting for people to practise conversational English and build confidence speaking with others.
TODAY: Guided Nature & Forest Therapy Walk takes place in Petawawa from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday. Designed for adults 50 and older, the free, registration-required walk uses a slower pace and mindful activities to encourage relaxation and a deeper connection with nature.
TODAY: Mini Makers takes place at the Petawawa Public Library from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Children ages six to 12 can take part in hands-on creative activities that may include crafts, art, STEM, sensory activities and imaginative play. Registration is required.
TODAY: Tot Sports begins its three-week session in Petawawa Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Toddlers and a parent or caregiver can try a different sport each week while developing basic movement and motor skills. The program runs through September 24 and costs $30 per parent-child pair.
TODAY: Skylight Drive-In presents Coyote vs. Acme followed by The Invite Thursday night. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7:40 p.m. The all-ages double feature offers a classic drive-in movie experience.
TOMORROW: Hugs, Snuggles and Rhymes takes place at the Pembroke Public Library from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 11. Young children and caregivers can enjoy stories, songs and activities focused on early literacy and family interaction.
TOMORROW: Tech Time runs at the Pembroke Public Library from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, offering residents an opportunity to get help with everyday technology questions, devices and digital tools.
TOMORROW: Friday Nights at the Petawawa Container Market returns from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The weekly market brings together local vendors and small businesses, giving shoppers a chance to support local entrepreneurs while spending some time outdoors.

TOMORROW: Wolves Welcome Week continues at Algonquin College Pembroke through Friday, September 11. The Pembroke Students’ Association and college are hosting activities throughout the week for students beginning or returning to campus. The college notes that additional activities may be added to the schedule.
