104.9 myFM’s efforts to help people in the Ottawa Valley struggling with food insecurity have paid off in a big way.
Our latest All Hands on Deck Food Drive, supporting five local food banks, raised $11,608 in cash donations.
Final totals for the exact amount of food collected are still being calculated, but thousands of pounds of food overall were packed into vehicles in locations across the Upper Ottawa Valley to help feed people living in the region as we go into the back-to-school season.
Multiple local businesses including River Run Treats and Culligan in Pembroke also contributed to the total with donations.
myFM is thanking everyone who donated to help make this food drive a success.
