A section of Angus Campbell Drive in Pembroke will be closed to traffic Thursday while road construction takes place.
The City of Pembroke says Angus Campbell Drive between Melton Street and Alfred Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 27.
Only local traffic and emergency services vehicles will be permitted in the area.
The city is advising motorists to obey posted construction signs, expect possible delays and use alternate routes where possible.
Businesses within the construction and detour zones will remain open during the work, and the city is encouraging residents to continue supporting local businesses.
The city thanked residents and businesses for their patience as it continues work to improve local infrastructure.
