The Petawawa Heritage Village is welcoming visitors for another season of guided tours highlighting the history of the Upper Ottawa Valley.
The village is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with guided tours beginning hourly. The final tour departs at 3 p.m.
Visitors can explore restored heritage buildings, view historical artifacts and learn about the people, trades and traditions that helped shape the Petawawa region. Tours also feature knowledgeable interpreters and hands-on demonstrations.
Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for youth between six and 18. Children five and under are admitted free. A self-guided visit is available for $5 for those who prefer to explore at their own pace.
The village says its tours are suitable for families, history enthusiasts, school groups and visitors interested in learning more about the region’s past.
Representatives say each visit helps support the preservation of local history while connecting visitors with the community’s heritage.
