A series of impaired driving investigations over five days has resulted in three people facing charges in the Upper Ottawa Valley.
The Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police says officers responded to separate incidents in Pembroke and Petawawa between July 28 and Aug. 1, including a collision and two reports of suspected impaired drivers.
A 20-year-old from Pembroke, a 66-year-old from Laurentian Hills and a 24-year-old from Pembroke were each charged with operation while impaired. All three are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Sept. 8.
Police say each accused received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, while their vehicles were impounded for seven days.
