A 31-year-old ATV driver suffered serious injuries following a rollover in North Algona Wilberforce on Saturday evening.
The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to the single-vehicle collision on Smiths Bay Road at about 5:40 p.m. on July 18. The driver was initially taken to hospital by ambulance before being airlifted by ORNGE to an Ottawa-area hospital for further treatment.
Smiths Bay Road was closed for several hours while officers investigated the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from OPP Technical Collision Investigators. Police are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP at 613-735-0188 or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
