A recent day out for staff at St. Francis Memorial Hospital was all about showing love to the people who care for patients in the Barry’s Bay area.
The hospital held a staff and physician recognition day earlier this month, which President and CEO Suzanne Madore says turned the SFMH campus into a miniature carnival for well over 200 members of their team and their families.
Doctors and staff were treated to live entertainment with Dr. Jason Malinowski and his band, plus games, a Beavertails truck, and other delights. Madore says the positivity and energy that came from the day was fantastic.
The day was also capped by a visit from local MPP Billy Denault and other local officials who offered a meaningful thank you for the hospital’s continued dedication to quality care in the community.
Madore, who also leads Renfrew Victoria Hospital, says it’s appreciation that is certainly due.
The event is expected to return to St. Francis Memorial Hospital next year.
