The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation has received a $50,000 commitment from André Mickovitch and Lesley Cassidy to support its Together We Care Campaign.
The five-year pledge will help fund the Foundation’s $10-million campaign to replace and upgrade medical equipment and technology at Pembroke Regional Hospital.
Foundation executive director Roger Martin said the donation reflects strong community leadership and will help ensure healthcare professionals have access to the tools they need to provide high-quality patient care.
The Together We Care Campaign has now surpassed 70 per cent of its fundraising goal. Foundation officials are encouraging residents and local businesses to support the initiative through one-time donations, multi-year pledges or gifts of publicly traded securities.
