A charity euchre tournament benefitting the St. Francis Memorial Hospital organized by Andy Shulist has raised $6,750 for four community organizations serving Renfrew County.
The June 28 event drew 160 participants, with proceeds supporting hospice and community services. The St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation received $3,000 for hospice palliative care, while Renfrew Hospice received $2,200.
Killaloe CRC was presented with $1,300, and the Lions Club received $250. Organizers thanked everyone who participated and supported the fundraiser.
