A $50,000 reward has been offered up for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Jonathan Logan of Renfrew.
Logan was fatally shot at a home on Vimy Boulevard on May 19, 2023.
OPP Sergeant Erin Cranton says awards of this size are unusual.
Cranton says this case is a top priority for the OPP.
The OPP believe this was a targeted shooting.
It’s also believed there were witnesses in the house at the time of the shooting, but they fled.
Jonathan’s mother, Catherine Logan, has been public in her calls for witnesses to come forward to help identify the shooter.
Sergeant Cranton says given this reward is a significant amount, they’re hopeful that it will motivate someone to come forward with the information they need to make an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at http://ontariocrimestoppers.ca
