A local couple is being recognized for helping advance healthcare in the Ottawa Valley through a charitable gift to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Together, We Care Campaign.
Barbara and Bob Kramer made their contribution by donating securities, including mutual funds, helping fund priority medical equipment at Pembroke Regional Hospital. Foundation officials say gifts like theirs ensure patients and families can continue receiving high-quality care close to home.
The campaign has now reached nearly 75 per cent of its $10-million fundraising goal, thanks to support from individuals, businesses, service clubs, foundations and community partners.
Organizers say continued community support will be key to reaching the campaign’s target and investing in the future of local healthcare.
