Here is a look at what’s going on in the town for the next 48 hours!
If you’re looking for something to do around Pembroke and Petawawa over the next couple of days, there’s plenty to keep you busy.
Thursday starts with Mini Librarian at the Pembroke Public Library from 10:30 to 11, followed by Thirsty Thursdays from 2 until 4, a chance to relax and connect at the library. Then, cap off the evening with free live music at Waterfront Park’s Riverwalk Amphitheatre, where Music Healing Veterans brings its folk and rock sound to the Waterfront LIVE! concert series beginning at 7 o’clock.
Friday is another busy one. Little ones can enjoy Hugs, Snuggles and Rhymes at the Pembroke Public Library from 10:30 until 11:30, while Brain Fitness for Active Aging gets underway at 1:30 at the Petawawa Civic Centre. From 2 to 4, the library hosts Tech Time, offering help with your devices and technology questions.
The fun continues Friday afternoon with the Park Social Club starting at 3, featuring supervised outdoor games and activities for kids at a Pembroke city park. Also at 3, the Petawawa Container Market opens for its Friday Nights event, with local vendors, food, and shopping running through 8 p.m. If you’re looking to brush up on your French, the French Conversation Group meets on the Pembroke waterfront from 4 until 5.
And once again, the evening wraps up with another free Waterfront LIVE! concert at 7, this time featuring Rick Soul performing adult contemporary favourites at the Riverwalk Amphitheatre.
That’s your community roundup — more local events coming up tomorrow!
