East Side Mario’s in Pembroke is set to mark the completion of extensive renovations with a grand reopening celebration this weekend.
The restaurant, located at 100 Pembroke St. E., will officially reopen on Saturday, June 27, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 10:45 a.m. The event is being hosted in partnership with the Pembroke Business Improvement Area and the City of Pembroke.
Organizers say the renovations have refreshed and revitalized the restaurant, creating an updated dining experience for customers while maintaining its role as a popular gathering place in the community.
The grand reopening celebration will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will include live on-location broadcasting by MYFM, drink samples from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and a fundraising initiative in support of St. Joseph’s Food Bank.
As part of the fundraiser, 25 per cent of all sales generated on June 27 will be donated to the food bank.
Community members are invited to tour the renovated space, meet staff and take part in the day’s activities.
Officials with the PBIA and the City of Pembroke say the event will also recognize East Side Mario’s continued investment in the local community.
