Looking for something to do around Pembroke and Petawawa over the next couple of days? Here’s a look at what’s happening around the community.
Monday evening offers a couple of opportunities to get out and connect in Petawawa. The Cooking for One program gets underway at 5:30, offering tips and ideas for preparing simple meals. Then at 6 o’clock, the Below Average Joes gathering takes place, giving community members another chance to get together and enjoy a local activity.
On Tuesday, things get started in Pembroke at the Pembroke Public Library. Story Time and Craft runs from 10:30 until 11:30 in the morning, with stories, activities and creative fun for young children and families.
Also Tuesday morning in Petawawa, Workplace Safety Essentials with WSPS begins at 10 o’clock, providing information and resources focused on workplace health and safety.
Later in the day, Petawawa hosts a Business Tea and Social Event at 3 p.m., offering an opportunity for local business owners and community members to network and connect.
Then Tuesday evening, it’s back to the Pembroke Public Library for Video Game Club from 6 until 7 p.m., where gamers can gather for an hour of friendly competition and fun.
