A 45-year-old Petawawa resident has been charged after Ontario Provincial Police investigated a traffic complaint on Highway 17.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says officers received a report of a vehicle shortly after 3 a.m. on June 13 and located it near the intersection of B Line Road and Petawawa Boulevard.
Police allege the driver failed or refused to comply with a lawful demand. The accused was charged and later released with a court date in Pembroke scheduled for July 28.
The individual’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, while the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
