Live music will once again fill Pembroke’s waterfront this summer as the city launches another season of Waterfront LIVE!, a free outdoor entertainment series showcasing local performers.
The program begins June 19 and will run nightly through Sept. 6, with the exception of Tuesdays, which are reserved for Movie Night in the Park.
Held at the city’s waterfront amphitheatre overlooking the Ottawa River, Waterfront LIVE! features a mix of musical acts and live performances from across the Ottawa Valley.
This year’s lineup includes returning performers Stereo Typical and Randa, along with new acts such as Ghost Buskers.
City officials say the series is designed to celebrate local culture and provide a platform for artists while offering residents and visitors free entertainment throughout the summer months.
Monthly performance schedules will be available at parks offices and city hall. Digital schedules and additional information can be found on the City of Pembroke’s website.
The event is expected to continue until early September, providing more than two months of live entertainment at the waterfront.
