If you’re looking for a few ways to get involved in the community over the next couple of days, we’ve got a handful of local events happening in Pembroke and Petawawa.
Starting in Petawawa on Wednesday, the Petawawa Public Library is hosting its Art Club from 10:15 until 11:15 in the morning. It’s a great opportunity for creative minds to get together, work on projects, and enjoy some artistic inspiration.
Then later that evening, young adventurers can head back to the library for Teen Dungeons & Dragons. The campaign runs from 6 until 7:30 p.m. and offers a chance to roll some dice, build characters, and explore fantasy worlds with fellow players.
Moving into Thursday, the Petawawa Public Library has another busy day planned. Crochet Club takes place from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., welcoming crafters of all skill levels for a relaxed and social morning. Then after school, kids aged 7 to 10 can take part in Art2Start from 4 until 5 p.m., a fun hands-on program designed to encourage creativity and artistic exploration.
Over in Pembroke on Thursday afternoon, the Pembroke Public Library is hosting its English Conversation Group beginning at 2 p.m. It’s a welcoming space for anyone looking to practise their English skills, meet new people, and enjoy good conversation.
And also on Thursday, keep an eye on the City of Pembroke’s Tastes + Talks event. It’s one of the city’s featured community gatherings and promises an opportunity to connect, learn, and enjoy local discussion.
Whether you’re looking to get creative, meet new people, learn something new, or simply spend some time out in the community, there are plenty of ways to stay connected this week across Pembroke and Petawawa.
That’s your community roundup — more local events coming up tomorrow!
