Driftwood Provincial Park in Stonecliffe is growing.
The Ontario government has announced it’s opening 25 new electrical campsites at the park north of Deep River this summer.
The new campsites are part of Ontario Parks’ broader $60 million campsite expansion and modernization efforts across the province.
Reservations for the new campsites open on June 15th at 7:00 a.m. for arrivals beginning June 26th, through the Ontario Parks Reservation Service.
The planned upgrades to the province’s parks will continue next year.
The closest to us to benefit will be Bon Echo Provincial Park, which sits just south of Renfrew County on Highway 41. It’s expected to open new campsites for the summer of 2027.
