The Pembroke Night Markets are returning for an expanded season this summer, with organizers planning weekly events in the city’s downtown core every Friday from June through August.
The markets will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 101 Victoria Street and will feature local artisans, crafters, food vendors, live entertainment and family activities.
The 2026 season marks a new partnership between the Pembroke Business Improvement Area and Valley Markets & Events. Organizers say the collaboration will build on the success of previous years while extending the event schedule to three months.
PBIA board chair Renae Rotblatt says the markets help bring people together, support local entrepreneurs and add energy to the downtown area.
She says visitors are encouraged to explore local restaurants and cafés while attending the markets, helping support businesses throughout the downtown core.
The season opens June 5 with more than 25 vendors, along with performances by the Ghost Buskers and appearances by a goat-snuggling attraction.
Organizers say each market will feature a different theme and a rotating lineup of vendors, entertainment and activities throughout the summer.
Valley Markets & Events owner Krista Cliche says the partnership will help create a stronger experience for visitors, vendors and local businesses while showcasing local talent and entrepreneurship.
Additional information for vendors and visitors will be available through the Pembroke Night Markets, Valley Markets & Events and Downtown Pembroke social media channels.
