There could be a few noticeable changes around Deep River and District Health. The ongoing renovations at the hospital’s Emergency Department may cause a few temporary changes to hallway access and movement, while some entrances will be temporarily closed.
Flooring replacement began Monday and will continue over the next several weeks. The work will be completed in phases to help minimize disruption and all hospital services will continue to operate as normal.
The hospital says there will be clear signage to direct patients and visitors.
DRDH says these flooring replacements are an important part of broader infrastructure improvements within the Emergency Department and surrounding clinical spaces.
