An annual food tasting extravaganza is set to return to Pembroke this summer, according to the programming and outreach coordinator for the Pembroke Public Library.
Anusha Arul says the annual Multilicious showcase is set to return starting June 1st, featuring nearly a dozen local restaurants showcasing specialty dishes for residents to try while logging it in their “food passport” for a chance to win a grand prize draw.
Arul says the showcase features a mix of past participants and new restaurants that have chosen to join in this year.
New participants, meanwhile, include Alma’s Sweets, Harvest Moon Kitchen and Mr. Fry Guy.
Each restaurant is serving one featured dish as part of Multilicious, with a mix of affordable options and pricier fare available. Arul says some locations are offering a special Multilicious discount as well.
That grand prize is going to be a food-themed gift basket featuring a variety of goodies as well as a gift card, Arul says.
Food passports are available at the Pembroke Public Library. Library cards aren’t required to register for one, and the passport will include the full list of participating restaurants.
