A heritage group in Petawawa is turning to the community for help as it works to replace the roof of a historic building.
Following recent contractor quotes, the total project cost is estimated at approximately $30,000, which is about $8,000 above the Village’s current budget allocation. While the organization is committed to moving the project forward without delay, additional community support is needed to help bridge the funding gap.
Organizers say the repairs are needed to protect aging structures and preserve local history, and they are encouraging residents to support the effort.
