The 45th weekly winner of the Pembroke Regional Hospital foundation’s Catch the Ace fundraising raffle is taking home nearly fifty grand.
The foundation announced on Wednesday that winner Lisa Kelly’s four of diamonds secured her a prize of $48,640 after she purchased the winning ticket online.
Workers with the hospital foundation say the ace of spades remains up for grabs in next week’s draw, and the estimated jackpot has officially exceeded one million dollars.
The draw raises money to purchase new equipment at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
Over the last 45 weeks, that money has gone towards IV pumps for the emergency department, surgical chairs, a new ultrasound machine, and a patient wandering system.
Anyone interested in taking part in the next draw can buy tickets at the PRH Foundation’s Catch the Ace website.
