Patient Experience Week is providing an opportunity to recognize the contributions of the Patient, Family and Caregiver Network (PFAC) in the Ottawa Valley.
The network brings together patients, family members and caregivers who share their experiences to help guide and improve local health care services.
Officials say the input helps make care more accessible, better coordinated and more responsive to community needs.
Health leaders are thanking PFAC members for their time and dedication, noting their feedback plays an important role in keeping patients and families at the centre of care planning and delivery.
