If you listen to 104.9 myFM (and we certainly hope you do), you’ll hear the booming voice of Mike Dawe from Mike’s Hardware reminding listeners that “nothing says you care like lumber, doors and hardware.”
Mike’s Hardware turned 10 years old last week, and owner Mike Dawe says the best part of his work is giving back to the community he cares about so deeply. He adds it’s a privilege to be able to do so.
The business offers a wide selection of products, including power tools, plumbing supplies and construction materials, aimed at supporting projects of all sizes.
Co-owner Amanda Dawe, Mike’s wife, says the past 10 years have flown by. She adds that she, Mike and their staff are far from finished supporting the region with high-quality building supplies.
Petawawa Mayor Gary Serviss was on hand to present Mike and Amanda with a certificate recognizing their years of hard work and dedication to the community. Fittingly, the last word goes to Mike.
Congratulations to Mike and Amanda on 10 years — here’s to many more.
