The Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre is reminding job seekers that time is running out to apply for several summer positions, with a deadline set for April 16.
The centre is hiring for a range of roles, including education program coordinators and assistants, an artifact collections assistant, and a grounds maintenance technician.
Positions are funded through federal programs such as Young Canada Works and Canada Summer Jobs, with wages set at $17.60 per hour. Most roles run from May through August, with hours ranging from 30 to 35 per week.
Applicants must meet varying eligibility requirements depending on the position, including age limits or student status. All roles are contingent on grant funding approval.
