The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation says a local woman has won more than $32,000 in its ongoing Catch the Ace raffle.
Lauren Gagne of Pembroke took home the weekly prize of $32,766 after her ticket was selected in Week 42. Foundation officials say her draw revealed the King of Clubs, meaning the progressive jackpot remains unclaimed.
The foundation says the Week 43 draw is now underway, with an estimated jackpot of $775,000 if the Ace of Spades is found.
Officials say the raffle, presented by OK Tire Pembroke, has raised more than $1.1 million for hospital equipment over the past 42 weeks.
Funds have supported a range of purchases at Pembroke Regional Hospital, including new IV pumps, surgical chairs, an ultrasound machine, and contributions toward a new CT scanner and patient monitoring systems.
The foundation says future proceeds will go toward implementing the Epic/MyChart electronic health information system, aimed at improving access to medical records for patients and care providers.
Tickets for the raffle are available online and at several locations throughout Pembroke and Petawawa.
